Prepare for Strike Action – Important Information for Families 

Please watch your email inbox for updates regarding the upcoming strike by the Alberta Teachers’ Association (ATA). Here is the message from the Marlborough website: 

At this time, the CBE is preparing for an Alberta Teachers’ Association (ATA) strike beginning on Monday, Oct. 6. Here is what this means for CBE families:  

• All classes will be cancelled. Do not send your child to school.  
• Transportation will be cancelled. Do not leave your child at a bus stop.

Events Cancelled for Next Week 

Due to the upcoming strike action, classes will be cancelled so all upcoming events in the near future are cancelled, including the Fun Lunch scheduled for Thursday, October 9 and the photo retake day on Tuesday, October 7.
