Terry Fox committed to running across Canada by running one marathon per day, to raise funds for cancer research. This is the 45th year of the annual Terry Fox Run. Marlborough School is participating by having students complete the annual run during the day on Thursday, September 18.

Terry Fox's dream was that every Canadian (at that time, 30 million people) would give $1 to fund cancer research. In honour of this, every year we collect Toonies for Terry at school and donate them to the Terry Fox Foundation.

If you'd like to donate, please send your donation to school with your child on Thursday, September 18. These will be collected first thing in the morning and we will report back on the total funds raised in the next learning assembly.
