Inline Skating
The first week of inline skating has been wonderful, and students are showing lots of progress already! Thanks for your support in sending your child’s helmet on their skating days. Please refer back to the schedule here for your child’s inline skating dates.
Next Year Friday Bell Time Change
We have an exciting update to share regarding our school schedule for the upcoming 2024-25 academic year. Starting next year, there will be a shift in our Friday dismissal bell time.
Current School Year:
- Friday Dismissal: 11:05 AM
Next School Year (starting in September 2024):
- Friday Dismissal: 12:30 PM
Our decision to adjust the Friday dismissal time is rooted in several considerations:
- Instructional Hours: Our students currently do not have a scheduled recess time. Recess has been linked with improved academic, social and mental health outcomes for students. Adding an hour to Friday will allow us to meet our targeted instructional hours and still have a recess break.
- Community Feedback: We've listened to feedback from parents, teachers, and students, and this change reflects our commitment to continuous improvement.
