Illnesses and Absence from School 

Springtime illnesses are going around. We will continue to encourage handwashing at school. Please keep your child home if they are ill, and call the attendance line (403 777 8190 ext. 1) to report the absence. 

Grade 5 Swimming Trip 

Due to the recent water main break on 16th Avenue, the City of Calgary recommended that water usage be reduced for now. All public pools in the city are currently closed, which may impact the planned Grade 5 swimming trip on Monday. Grade 5 families, please look for text or email from the school with an update on Sunday evening or Monday morning. We are already working on rescheduling to another day if this trip is canceled due to the pool closure. We’ll keep you informed. 

Reminder | Last Day of School 

This is a reminder that our last day of school – Thursday, June 27 – is an early dismissal day. Students will be dismissed at 11:05. Please make arrangements for your child to be picked up at 11:05 on this date. Remember: if someone new is picking up your child, you will need to inform the office, so we know we have permission to release the student to them.
