Alien Inline | June 9-20

Thanks to the generous support of Marlborough School Council, all students will have the opportunity to inline skate (aka Rollerblade) at school over the next few weeks. In order to participate, students will need to fill in and return the yellow form that will go home next week. All equipment is cleaned in between uses, but if students have their own well-fitting bicycle helmets they are encouraged to bring them to maximize skating time. Text reminders about helmets will go home to families the night before, so if you haven’t opted in to receive our texts, please do so before Friday, June 6. The schedule is also live on our school's online calendar.

From Council | Sports Day Volunteer Request

If you have valid police clearance and you’re available to volunteer for Marlborough School’s Sports Day on the morning of Wednesday, June 25, please email marlboroughschoolcouncil@gmail.com at your earliest opportunity!

Grade 5 to Bob Edwards for Tour

Grade 5 students will go to Bob Edwards to visit, see the school and meet the staff on Monday morning June 2 from 8:40 to 10:40. They will be supervised by their teachers and three other members of staff.

Action Required | Transportation for Next Year

Please read more about this on our school’s website. Your child’s eligibility for transportation might have changed, so please go to the Find a School tool, put in your current address, and view the map in the school profile. If you’re interested in your child riding the school bus, make sure to check soon. The deadline to register for your child to be added to a bus route for the beginning of the year is June 22. Details about how to register are available in the story on our school’s website
