Friday Literacy Focus Time

Grade one to five students participate in a special learning time on Friday mornings. During this time, they work on skills they need to engage even more successfully in reading and writing. By adding this concentrated learning time, we are hoping for our students’ achievement in reading and writing to improve. Please ensure that your grade 1-5 students are attending school every Friday to benefit from this important instructional support.

Halloween

We will have a regular school day on Tuesday with no special events, but if your child would like to wear a costume in the afternoon, they are welcome to do so. Please note that only non-violent costumes are welcome at school. This means no blood or weapons. Also, students are not allowed to wear masks at school that cover their faces for safety reasons. Please do not send candy or treats to school.

Save the Date!

The grade 3, 4 and 5 students will be presenting a concert on November 23 in the evening. The theme, in keeping with our Marlborough Mission Statement, will be “Safe, Seen and Heard.” Stay tuned for more information with the details in the upcoming weeks. The K, 1 and 2 students will hold their concert in the spring.
