Orange Shirt Day 

In honour of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation coming up later this month, we will observe Orange Shirt Day on Thursday, September 26. Students and staff will be welcome to wear orange to symbolize our commitment to truth and reconciliation and to emphasize that every child matters. 

Assembly – Thursday, September 26 at 10:15 

All families are welcome to join us for our first monthly assembly on Thursday, September 26 from 10:15 a.m.-10:45 a.m. Our focus will be Orange Shirt Day (Truth & Reconciliation) - so you are welcome to join your child in wearing orange to school that day. We will be holding monthly assemblies to showcase our learning one Thursday per month. These dates will be on the Marlborough Calendar online each month. 

Welcome Back BBQ – Thursday, September 26 from 5 to 7 pm 

We are so excited to invite you all to our Welcome Back BBQ next Thursday from 5 to 7 pm. School Council/Marlborough Parents’ Society will sell Halal hot dogs, juice boxes and chips for $2. This event is an opportunity for parents to meet teachers, and for families to visit with each other. We will hold the BBQ outside on the side of the school with the playground. See you there!
