Thank you | Welcome Back Barbecue

Thanks to all families and students who attended our Welcome Back Barbecue last night, and a huge thanks to School Council for providing food for sale. It was great to see so many families and to get to know everyone a bit better!

Next Week | Orange Shirt Week

Orange Shirt Week will be observed at Marlborough School from Monday, September 25-Thursday, September 28. During this week, students will learn in age-appropriate ways about the history of Residential Schools and the impacts of these on Indigenous communities and culture. With the support of their teachers, each student will reflect on the question, “how can we learn from the land?”

Staff and students are invited to wear orange shirts throughout the week, but especially on Thursday. We will have an assembly to wrap up Orange Shirt Week on Thursday, September 25 at 10:00am. Families are welcome to come join us for the assembly.
