Big thanks to all who were able to come to our Welcome Back BBQ. We appreciate your participation, it was so nice to see you all. Also, a big thanks to our School Council volunteers, who made and served the food. 

We will have a draw on Tuesday for the winners of the Staff Trivia Scavenger Hunt. 

Please Leave Toys and Valuables at Home 

Please do not bring toys (including trading cards) or other valuables to school. When things get broken or go missing, this is very upsetting for students. Please also make sure your child’s belongings are clearly labeled: already, our Lost and Found is overflowing with sweaters, water bottles and lunch containers. Labelled items can easily be returned to students. 

Calendar Correction 

Our calendar has an error in it: Parent/Teacher Conferences in November are listed on the wrong date. The correct dates for Parent/Teacher Conferences are Thursday, November 28^th (evening) and Friday, November 29^th (morning). More information will come out closer to the date. Apologies for this error, please save the new date and download/print our new calendar here. 

Please note that days off from school are communicated through the online calendar, the downloadable calendar, and the sign in front of the school. You can also always Google "CBE Traditional Calendar" if you are curious if school is in session. We will not have specific days off listed in this weekly message. We encourage you to go online to see the most up-to-date information.
