Calendar
The Marlborough School Calendar is on our website here. Please make sure you are aware of when school is in session. The calendar also includes upcoming dates and events.
Student Safety at Dismissal
Please make sure your child's teacher is clear on the plan for your child's pickup at the end of each school day. For safety reasons, only adults listed on your child's demographic form (available to update here on your MyCBE/PowerSchool account) are allowed to pick up your child. Updating this information right away ensures that everyone gets where they're supposed to be, and reduces delays at the end of the day. If your child is allowed to walk home, please let the office and their teacher know via email.
Soft Entry
Doors 1 (office), 4 (playground) and 7 (parking lot) open at 7:45 each day. As long as you see staff members wearing supervision vests, you can send your child to the door. Staff are available inside to help students get to their classrooms. No entry doors are assigned, so students should come in whichever open door is nearest to where you drop them off.
Lost and Found
Please make sure your child's belongings are labeled with their name. This ensures that we can reunite students with their belongings when things go missing.
Classroom Complexity Team
This fall, the CBE has hired hundreds of teachers, education assistants and other school staff to support student learning. These positions have been funded by the Government of Alberta with the intention of addressing classroom complexity and class sizes.
We are pleased to welcome additional new staff to our school for the 2026-27 school year:
Nicole Durling (Teacher)
Anam Khan (Education Assistant)
Khalida Noori (Education Assistant)
We are very pleased to welcome these wonderful returning staff members to new positions in our school community! This additional staff will help ensure students benefit from increased teacher attention, improved classroom learning environments, and greater support for diverse learning needs.
Sharing Administrative Regulations
Each year, we share Administrative Regulations (ARs), which are policies that guide our work at school. Please take a moment to review AR 6031: Welcoming, Caring, Respectful and Safe Learning and Work Environments and AR 6006: Progressive Student Discipline.
Volunteering
Want to volunteer on field trips or for school events this year? The police clearance process can take a little time, so it's best to start earlier than later. Information about how to complete the volunteer clearance process can be found here.
