School Council

Thank you to all who attended the School Council and Parents’ Society meeting this past Monday. Our next meeting on October 16 at 6pm is the Annual General Meeting (AGM) where volunteers are voted into their positions for this school year. Attendance

Please report absences by calling 403 777 8190 ext 1 and leaving a voicemail. Please include the reason for your child’s absence. This helps us keep track of student attendance.

Crosswalk Safety

Patrols will be starting up soon (late September). Please help us keep our students and families safe by taking extra care when driving around the crosswalk. We have noticed some unsafe driving, including u-turns and parking in the crosswalk. Thanks for your help keeping our community safe!

Terry Fox Run

Our school will hold our annual Terry Fox Run during the day on Thursday, September 21. We will also be collecting “Toonies for Terry” next week if you want to support the Terry Fox Foundation.

Welcome Back BBQ

On Thursday, September 21 from 6pm-7pm on the field by the playground, School Council is hosting the Welcome Back BBQ. There will be hot dogs (all beef and Halal) available for purchase at a price of $2 for a hot dog, juice box and chips. We will have a Get-to-Know-the-Teachers Scavenger Hunt (just like on Moose Night!) and bubbles and chalk for the kids to play with. This event is meant to give an opportunity for families to connect with our staff as a kick-off to the school year. See you there!
